What is the 2026 Wisconsin Fireworks Festival?
Ignite The Night, is a three-night event featuring some of the best professional pyrotechnic displays you can see in the country. The PGI travels the US and only convenes one week a year, this year featuring three distinctly different shows at the Wisconsin International Raceway (WIR) in Kaukauna WI.  * * (Wisconsin Fireworks Festival is a PGI event name; and not run by the state of Wisconsin).

The 2026 PGI is where fireworks enthusiasts from around the world gather to showcase their skills and passion for pyrotechnics. Get ready for jaw-dropping displays choreographed and scripted to tenths of a second, featuring rare member-made exhibition shells. Whether you're a seasoned fireworks spectator, enthusiast, or just starting out, this event promises to ignite your love for fireworks!

Join us at all three spectacular public displays in August;  on Saturday (Grand Opening) night, Wednesday (Competition) family value night, and Friday (Grand Public Display) night.

Although most know us for our world renown expertly choreographed sky shows, we are primarily a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to fireworks safety, training, and the production of safe, legal, and the artistic display of fireworks.  We rely entirely upon member dues, convention fees, sponsorships, and ticket sales to perform fireworks safety training. We offer deep show ticket discounts for charities.

WHAT TO EXPECT

For each of our three shows, Gates will open at 6 p.m. Fireworks will start at dark. We recommend you buy tickets early, beat the traffic, arrive early (at 6 pm, not before).  All General Admission tickets are in the bleachers. Pick a good spot to sit in the bleachers as those spots are unreserved. Bring a seat cushion or blanket for your comfort to sit in the bleachers!  All the bleacher seats have a great view of the entire show field! 

Each show night program is different and unique.  Select each show event page and review the unique show description you would like to attend, and buy tickets separately. For each night purchased you will receive a discount code in your confirmation email that may be used (on select show nights and ticket types) for your next show purchase.

TICKET TYPES AND DETAILS

• TODDLERS - Children ages 4 and younger may attend free and do NOT require a ticket.
• ADULT GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS - Anyone ages 16 and above- Bleacher seats
• CHILDREN - Discounted tickets for ages 5-15 - must be accompanied by an adult.
• CORPORATE SKY BOX VIP terrace sponsored by STONE ARCH BREW PUB with enclosed booth with food and beverage offered (only 40 seats offered each show). New seats offered for Wednesday nights show - won’t last long!
• VIP FRONT ROW CENTER.   These are bleacher seats as close as you can get. SOLD OUT. 

PREMIUM VIP BOXES -Unlike the bleachers, box seats will include chairs. SORRY, VIP BOXES ARE NOW SOLD OUT. 

ABOUT PARKING: Street / shoulder parking will not be allowed. All cars must park in a lot. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT ENTRY INTO THE TRACK ON NON PUBLIC SHOW NIGHTS!   GATES WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC!  THERE IS NO STREET PARKING!   SHOULDER PARKED CARS WILL BE TICKETED OR TOWED.     

On show nights if you have a show ticket, You do not have to pay for parking. Parking is free for show ticket holders.  Free parking lot access will require you display your show tickets to enter the venue entrance.   Please buy your show tickets in advance.  

The PGI has employed parking staff to optimize the flow of traffic and pedestrians.

There are three types of parking - ADA Disabled free to official Handicap plate and mirror tag holders.  Free parking FOR PRE PURCHASED SHOW TICKET HOLDERS ONLY, and Paid Reserved - Over multiple lots. handicap-accessible spots will be available to official placard holders. Free parking will be farther away from the public seating area so if you have mobility issues but do not possess an official handicap hanger tag, please consider purchasing reserved parking with your ticket.

PLEASE NOTE: RESERVED PARKING FOR FRIDAY NIGHT’S SHOW IS NOW SOLD OUT.  if you don’t possess an official handicap plate but think you need reserved parking you should consider purchasing the OPENING NIGHT SHOW- Reserved parking is still available for that remarkable show!  

PRE PAID RESERVED PARKING will be closer to the seating area, and parking is guaranteed. Reserved Parking can elevate your overall experience and reduce stress. Customer feedback tells us that those who purchase reserved parking have higher satisfaction attending large events. Reserved parking passes must be purchased in advance with a show ticket.

SHOW TICKET DISCOUNTS

• MULTI- NITE SHOW DISCOUNTS:   Buy any night show and you will receive a discount code in your confirmation email.  Use the code to buy additional nights shows in a separate transaction.  Individual purchase is required for each night. Only one discount code may be used per order. 
• 
  SPECIAL BULK RATE DISCOUNT TICKETS.   For Wednesday night only, charitable organizations, groups and teams may purchase a 20 pack of tickets at steep discounts for resale or fund raising.  Resell at list price to raise funds for your organization,  or pass the savings on to your team or club.
• DISCOUNTS may expire without notice. Tickets will sell out fast, so please buy early to get the best price.

ADVANCE TICKET PURCHASE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED : Please be aware there will be NO CASH TICKET SALES at the gate.  This venue may quickly reach capacity, and we may sell out. To ensure you get the show you want,  we recommend you buy show tickets online and early! 

GENERAL DETAILS FOR ALL SHOWS:

Food Truck(s) and refreshments will be available in the public seating area.

Gates Open at six and close at show start. Arrive on time- not earlier than 6 pm. Shows start at dusk. Face painters and balloon twists for kids for a limited time each show. 

Please; No coolers, alcoholic beverages, no beach umbrellas.

Please; No pets, no RVs, no drones, no pop-ups, tents, tables or canopies, no firearms.

No personal fireworks (No Consumer Fireworks sold to the public).

Please do not bring your personal drone to this event. 

You are welcome to bring a backpack or tote-bag. Bring a chair cushion or blanket for bleacher seats.  No alcoholic beverages.

Rain dates will be announced in event of severe inclement weather.

DIRECTIONS TO THE VENUE:

Unless you purchased a Reserved parking pass separately, (RESERVED PARKING is sold out for Friday) and you cannot upgrade to reserved parking in the parking lot.  Please do not attempt to park in RESERVED unless you purchased a Reserved parking ticket in advance.- if you do not have a reserved ticket and or  a specific official ADA handicap parking pass, you will be rerouted to GENERAL PARKING. 

 ADA and Reserved parking will be approaching from Kimberly / Appleton on KK.   LODERBAUR RD will be closed to thru traffic, on show nights.  
For GENERAL PARKING you should experience less traffic if you approach from the East heading West from Dundas / Holland side via 10 or highway D via Man Cal Rd, Calumet St.  This approach will allow you to turn right and right again into our GENERAL PARKING area.  See the maps below. 

Gates open at 6pm. There are no coolers allowed in the stadium. Evenings may get cold.  Bring a jacket, blanket, or a seat cushion for your comfort if you like. You may bring snacks for the kids. Food trucks and concessions will be available.  
PGI ADVISES:  PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL TO THIS VENUE ON NON-SHOW NIGHTS!

• The public is only invited on public show nights.    Saturday, Aug 8th, Wed 12th and Friday, Aug 14th

• On NON-Public nights, the track entrance will be closed to the public and these parking lots will be closed.  There is no roadside parking and show night parking lots are only open on public show nights. The public is asked NOT to travel to the area on non-public show nights (there will be no place to park) as roadside cars will be ticketed or towed.
